Do you want HOPE, COMFORT, UNDERSTANDING, and PEACE of MIND? A professional who really listens and offers hope? Someone to help you make a life-changing decision about work, family, or a special relationship? A good therapist loves people and what he does; helping clients regain hope. I can give you the tools that will teach you how to make yourself feel better. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/MHSP), a certified Reality Therapist (Glasser), a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Mindful Coach, and a Life/Creativity Coach.

Your doctor will likely refer you to a counselor who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It's been proven to work, especially in conjunction with the medications your doctor may prescribe. My approach is multifaceted, using both CBT and Psychotherapy with individuals and couples, to restore mental health, instill hope, and correct behavioral problems. Thought always precedes feelings, and correcting our thought content is always helpful.

I use the precepts of Choice Theory (Glasser) and believe that we CHOOSE most of our behaviors to satisfy basic needs. Most unique factor: Sometimes I'll use a "coaching" approach that helps puts folks at ease so they can look at their perceptions without guilt or pain.
