I know how difficult it is to figure out which therapist is the right one for you. I am a very good choice if you: find yourself reactive in relationships/at work; have adoption-related concerns; are part of the gay / lesbian community; are looking for a culturally sensitive clinician. I specialize in mindfulness-based, body-focussed therapy. This approach is extremely helpful for those who are often anxious, depressed, angry, or physically fatigued. I will help you become increasingly attuned to your body's reactivity to stress and provide tools so you can calm your difficult emotions and manage the stressors in your life.

My clients see me for various reasons: relationship/work related stress; non-traditional couple/family formation; anxiety/depression; trauma; adoption. I also have years of experience helping clients with international/ethnic minority backgrounds. I am well informed and very attuned to the ways cultural nuances impact a person's life.

Many of my clients with prior therapy experience have stated how they appreciate that I am very engaged and interactive -- my style is relational, experiential, humanistic -- and that I provide specific tools to manage their difficult emotions. I do a form of therapy that helps clients be more resourceful and resilient.
