“I have been in practice as a licensed psychologist for over fifteen years in California, working with individuals, couples and families. My areas of expertise include depression and anxiety, couples and family therapy, relationship and intimacy issues, addictions and recovery, stress and anger management, work-related and life-transition issues, chronic illness, disability and health concerns. My clinical focus is on health, well-being, growth and healing, as well as problem or disease prevention, rather than on a "mental illness" orientation.

My approach is predominately cognitive-behavioral, directive and solution-focused. My approach is also informed by a "Person-Centered" orientation. Empathy is essential; my clients are the primary experts concerning their goals, values and needs. I make frequent referrals to services and resources that my clients may need.

My offices are in the Hotel Circle/ Mission Valley area in San Diego, and in Poway, near Pomerado Hospital. I am on most insurance panels, as well as Employment Assistance Programs. I accept a sliding scale fee from people without insurance.”
