“As a psychologist with a background in psychotherapy and career counseling, I consider myself a partner and resource in the process of positive change. Respectful of the complex constellation of individual differences that makes each person unique, I apply professional expertise to provide assistance in identifying need, readiness, and strategies to effect change—i.e., to alter situations and patterns of behavior that impede progress in life. Most people want to be heard, to be responded to, and to have opportunities for practical problem-solving. I strive to meet these, in the context of a supportive working relationship.

My clients are adults, ranging in age from 18 to 65, who enter therapy with concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief and loss, body dissatisfaction and eating problems, recovery from childhood trauma, career indecision and career change. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.

My practice offers weekday and weekend hours in a convenient location in Fairfax City (near the intersection of Routes 50, 29, and 236). I provide flexible billing arrangements, serve as a preferred provider for some insurance plans, and will assist with out-of-network filing.”
