My primary focus is working with children and adolescents who are struggling with family discord, parent separation and/or divorce. For over 13 years I have been working within the school system, consulting for an adolescent residential/outpatient therapeutic treatment facility and in private practice. I work with children, adolescents, and their families to improve their skills navigating through life's challenges, transitions, and daily stressors. I also assist people who are feeling depressed, sad, anxious, or dealing with general relationship concerns. Together we develop skills to increase self esteem and coping abilities to promote resilient individuals and more communicative families.

Having extensive experience and training in experiential, humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral psychotherapies, I will help create an authentic atmosphere in which we solve the issues that are creating difficulty. I will work with you and your child in a genuine, respectful, and dependable way to facilitate exploration of your experiences.

I graduated from George Washington University (B.A. & M.A.) and have additional training in psychoanalytic and experiential theories. People often feel there is a stigma asking for help. Consider your call to me to be a healthy step toward making your life and relationships less anxious and more comfortable.
