“Seeking psychotherapy is an important step toward personal growth and development. In a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere you can work collaboratively with a therapist to explore your thoughts and feelings, identify relationship patterns, improve coping skills, and develop a deeper understanding of how past experiences are linked with present concerns. With the right therapist, this process can be invaluable. In my practice, I offer individual psychotherapy to adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, loss/grief, and life challenges. Many of the individuals I work with have experienced traumatic life events such as childhood abuse or maltreatment.

Such experiences can make it difficult to have satisfying relationships. My approach to psychotherapy is relationship-based/psychoanalytic, which is usually necessary for deeper work. I typically meet with individuals once or twice per week for 50-minute sessions.

Feel free to contact me by phone so that we can decide together whether I"m the kind of therapist you"re looking for. When you call, please mention that you read about my practice on the Psychology Today website.”
