I am a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist. DBT is a blend of Eastern philosophy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. It is a highly effective approach for: developing mindfulness, regulating emotions, decreasing impulsivity, and being effective in interpersonal relationships. DBT can help with: Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse.

I am also trained in EMDR. This is a treatment shown to be effective in the treatment of trauma. It can also be used to enhance performance. I also specialize in working with college students and the issues unique to this population. Both offices in convenient Hudson Valley locations.
