Ms. Jaime Beth Gershman

We all develop habits of thought and relating that don't feel good; sometimes we don't realize we can shift these patterns, and sometimes we just don't know how. My approach to counseling involves helping people tune in deeply to themselves to discern what feels authentic. I also tune in to discern the best way to challenge and nurture you in your process of increasing awareness. Having company and support in your process leads to more freedom to be who you are emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually.

Since 1990 I have helped people with anxiety, depression, addiction issues, relationships, life transitions, losses, illness/pain/healing, creative challenges, project organization, and recent and past trauma. I work with individuals, couples, older adolescents, adults, elders, & small organizations. In addition to counseling & psychotherapy, I provide clinical supervision for other clinicians.

Jaime Beth Gershman has her Masters in Social Work & holds the license of LICSW in Massachusetts & LCSW in Connecticut. She is a graduate of Hartford Family Institute's Professional Body-Centered Gestalt Training Program, is certified as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor & has varied experience with movement & artistic explorations for healing.
