“I work with individuals & couples--older adolescents, adults & elders, as well as small organizations to access their own unique level/style of success & satisfaction. Since 1990 I have worked with people dealing with anxiety/depression, addiction issues, relationship issues, life transitions, losses, illness/pain/healing-creative challenges, project organization-severe trauma from recent & past events--in crises & in times of simple curiosity & desire for personal/spiritual growth. Often I help people become more aware of their breathing & tension patterns, finding quieter places in their body as an opportunity to access deeper self-knowledge, wisdom & peace.

I have clients who come for a brief & focused approach, & others who stay to work with me for years. In addition to counseling and psychotherapy, I provide clinical supervision for other clinicians. I enjoy helping people feel more comfortable being who they are & becoming who they want to be.

Jaime Beth Gershman has her Masters in Social Work & holds the license of LICSW in Massachusetts & LCSW in Connecticut. She is a graduate of Hartford Family Institute"s Professional Body-Centered Gestalt Training Program, is certified as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor & has experience with varied movement & artistic explorations for healing.”
