Dr. Christell Lara

In today's hectic world, it is often easy to lose sight of the importance of our emotional well-being. Experiencing the various challenges and difficulties that life has to offer can cause us to become easily overwhelmed and distraught, leaving us to feel lost without a sense of hope. As a psychiatrist, I utilize both medications and/or psychotherapy to provide compassionate care to help you get through those difficult times in life and to help restore your hope.

I see patients ages 13 and up, and am interested in depressive, anxiety/panic, bipolar disorders and ADHD/ADD. As a previous teacher, I also enjoy working with adolescents, providing guidance as they transition into adulthood. I also enjoy treating women's reproductive health issues such as postpartum depression and menopause.

I believe in spending quality time with my patients, ensuring their concerns and needs are properly addressed and met. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish to better understand and serve you. Together, we can work towards your goals and travel down the road to recovery.
