Most clients report increased inner-strength and notice improvements within the first 3-4 sessions. In compassionate courageous ways, you and I will work together to discover your wisest, inner adult self. The non-judgmental, creative approaches I use help heal your brain and emotions, empowering you to gain confidence and make wise decisions, consistent with your passions and insights, bringing serenity.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Reprocessing) to deal with trauma and negative beliefs and DNMS (Developmental Needs-Meeting Strategy) to deal with childhood attachment and relationship issues, as well as cognitive therapies. I help all ages cope with anxiety, grief, depression, identity, relationships, premarital and spiritual issues.
Having lived in Asia, the Caribbean, US, Europe and Egypt, I am familiar with cultural differences (Asian, Latino, African, etc.) and the difficulties in adjusting to new cultures. As an ordained pastor, if desired, I can bring spiritual perspective for clients who seek to connect with God in deeper ways.
