Embers Within is a therapeutic anger management group for adult men. Our goal is to provide tools and explore reasons for your anger by using both an empirically tested DBT methodology and a personal humanistic approach. The DBT methodology aims to change your perspective and reactions towards events around you which trigger the anger, while the humanistic approach aims to encourage empathy, genuiness, unconditional positive regard, and a non-judgmental atmosphere where you can address the reasons behind the anger. This two-pronged approach serves our members best by tackling immediate concerns while gaining deeper acceptance of themselves as men.
