I see the therapeutic relationship as a sacred trust, honored by the creation of a safe, emotionally-open environment wherein people can access their own untapped resources. Trained in Marriage and Family Therapy, Certified and Licensed in Addiction Counseling, and certified in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, I partner with my clients to move toward their desired changes. Using a client-centered approach wiht a holistic perspective, I help my clients to feel better about themselves and the world around them. Together we untie the knots that have come to bind them, and build a better tomorrow.

With years of work in community settings, I am acquainted with a broad spectrum of presenting problems, especially for those challenged by both addiction and mental illness. My experience also encompasses tending to the grief and loss that enter all of our lives in one form or another.

Living with, understanding, and growing beyond the darker emotions is an important part of my work.
