We strive to achieve a sense of authentic happiness, fulfillment, and joy in all we do. Yet, sometimes we find that beliefs we hold, thoughts we think, or the habits that come to govern our actions fail to bring us the outcomes we desire. Because these habits of thought and behavior are so widespread we often fail to recognize reasonable and powerful alternatives that are readily available. The people I work with in therapy come to realize and utilize ways of relating, thinking, and working that result in much happier and fulfilled lives.

Understanding how problematic thoughts and feelings can come to interfere with one's goals is just one facet of finding a solution, understanding their function in influencing our experiences is another. To live with a greater sense of joy and fulfillment, we must learn to change our approach to life.

In facilitating growth toward happier more effective living, I integrate the best that the great wisdom traditions – psychology, spirituality, & philosophy – have to offer for awareness, intimacy, and self-actualization.
