Very often anxiety, negativity, sadness, and frustration/anger with family, work or school, occurs when you're out of touch with yourself. I work with clients to learn about their thoughts and behavior, especially to create change. My research from writing several books and family systems training may also help you. We can discuss any concerns in the first few sessions to see if this is the right fit for you.
I work with children, teens or adults challenged by anxiety, anger, communication, depression, ADHD and relationship stressors. Additionally, I help you think about the future finding work/life balance and a better career or education path when needed. I also offer family mediation and parenting coordination in my practice.
I came to counseling because I believe that life is a journey so why not be as fulfilled, satisfied and happy as possible along that path. I believe that we can change. A self-expressive therapy group for children in grades three to five helping to solve problems associated with anxiety, low frustration tolerance, poor mood or self-esteem and for those lacking social skills using play therapy, arts & crafts, specific toys and team building. Strong education component focusing on the whole child and school/relationship success. May be billed to insurance if I participate with your plan. Visit website. This group designed for high school girls stressed by anxiety, depression, school or family pressures providing a safe place for self-disclosure and problem solving. GIrls build self-confidence and self-esteem by helping one another through discussion, some therapeutic games. College planning and some career testing may apply.
