Dr. David Angelich

Psychologist , PsyD

(202) 559-1015
I work to relieve suffering caused by symptoms or persistent problematic personality traits by helping clients obtain a more complete and honest picture of themselves. The increased self-knowledge and insight achieved within a supportive therapeutic relationship helps my clients make the changes they are seeking. Enhanced relationships, improved confidence, and the elimination of self-defeating behaviors are the product of the continued development and deepening of the therapeutic relationship.

Dr. David Angelich's groups

PTSD Group

I have experience in group psychotherapy treating PTSD while working with combat veterans. Group psychotherapy helps group members overcome emotional problems, improve overall social and emotional functioning, and offers a unique source of support and strength. Groups help members to cope with stress and troubling symptoms and provide a sense that one is not suffering alone. The group therapist facilitates the productive process of the group and helps members learn about themselves in an interpersonal context. After an individual meeting and a decision to proceed into a group, arrangements are discussed such as meeting times, frequency and fees.
