Ms. Amie Roe

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LCSW

(347) 673-0604
Do challenging relationships, life transitions, and overwhelming emotions have you feeling powerless and "stuck"? Together, we'll use your intelligence, creativity and energy to create meaning from the challenges you face. I will help you reconnect with your authentic self so that we can make good use of your gifts and abilities as we work towards healing.
I work with individuals, families, and couples/relationships to create solutions and positive growth in the face of diverse challenges and difficulties. I believe that we are all unique, intelligent, resourceful and creative, and that all people deserve help that reflects this.
My work is inspired by my experiences as a performer, training as a trauma therapist, a dedication to sex positivity, and commitment to social justice. I use play therapy with young children in my practice and my office is equipped with therapeutic toys and materials to accommodate this work.
