“Dr. Jeremy Frank is licensed psychologist and certified addiction counselor with a private practice in Philadelphia. As the Coordinator of Campus Alcohol and Substance Awareness at Temple University he has extensive experience working with diverse clients facing a variety of concerns. Jeremy believes counseling is a collaborative process where clients sort out their thoughts and feelings in order to get a better understanding of who they are. Jeremy believes relationships define who we are and his eclectic approach aims to help people realize what it is they want and need from others and their lives.

He uses psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches but trusts that clients know how to steer the direction for what should be talked about in therapy.

He is very open to sharing his personal thoughts and experiences as a way of helping others to more fully understand themselves.”

Dr. Jeremy Frank also hosts the following groups:

Gay and Lesbian Group
Presidential Apts D - 108, 3900 City Ave, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Every other Thursday at 8pm - 9:30pm
$60 - $70 per session

This group is for men and woman who identify as gay and who are motivated to work on longer term therapy issues. Most of the currnet members have been in or are also in individual therapy and the group provides an opportunity to continue this work. Topics addressed are relationships, self esteem, depression, anxiety, and family concerns. Some members are in a relationship with a partner and some are not. Some members have been out for a long time and others have not. The group becomes a very close and tight nit support system and is fun but also challenging.
Mens Group (addiction harm reduction)
Presidential Apts D - 108, City Ave, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Every Monday at 8pm - 9:30pm
$60 - $70 per session

This group is for men struggling to address the role of drugs, alcohol or other additions in life. It is not an abstinence based group and so some men are using or still acting out while others may have made more significant changes and some may be abstinent. The group may be appropriate for men who gamble or act out sexually but most of the members are struggling to determine the role that drugs or alcohol play in their lives. This group often works for men who are not interested in going to AA.
