“I believe that consultations should be driven by a client's needs, values, and goals - not by someone else's. As a client, you are in the driver's seat - not some "expert." Your opinions will be respected and valued. You will not be viewed as a "patient" who has something wrong with him/her or as someone who needs to be "fixed" or "cured."

I utilize a strengths model in my practice rather than a deficit model. I completed post graduate training at Ohio State dealing with brief therapy modalities and have an interest in solution focused therapy. I believe that "doing what works" during consultations/therapy yields positive results for clients.

While serving as a Columbus, Ohio police officer, I received a real-life education which never could be obtained through traditional schooling. My multitude of experiences during my work as a police officer and my other life experiences allow me to impart a broad, non-judgmental, and empathic perspective to my clients.”
