I am a clinical psychologist, located in Montreal, I have an interest in the treatment of personality disorders, trauma, and abuse. Indeed, my specialty includes working with those who were victims of childhood abuse and neglect. As a dedicated professional, I have 23 years of experience working with populations with special needs. Since the 1980's, I've been employed in working with special populations in a variety of settings, including mental health treatment and correctional services. As such, I have conducted workshops and lectures, as well as providing consultation at various institutions in the Montreal region.
I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology, with special training in individual psychotherapy and psychological testing. Today, I specialize in the treatment of PTSD and personality disorders. My approach is based upon a psychodynamic perspective (Object-Relations) that views problems as developmental rather than a pathological.
I believe in the remarkable resilence that humans possess to overcome and surmount adversity. In our ability to grow and change. " We have a wonderful capacity transform the negative into a positive outcome. To be awesomely creative." " Not only will we survive, we will prevail."
