Q: What kind of therapist are you? What are you like? A: Therapy should be dynamic, interactive and alive. I listen deeply both to the content of what you say and pay attention to the feelings and underlying issues that emerge in the conversation between us. My training is in psychoanalysis and hypnotherapy. Most people who come to me are feeling stuck or trapped in some way, in a job, in a relationship, in themselves. I have 18 years of experience. In both psychodynamic therapy and hypnotherapy, I work to connect to the healing capacity of the creative unconscious. I love working with writers, artists and creative people interested in going deeper.

I am interested in working with people who have experienced trauma, early loss. My career started working in hospitals with people suffering from serious illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and am comfortable working in this area. I love doing this work - it is so gratifying and moving.
