Marvin Neil Anderson

I am interested in helping people find more effective ways of dealing with personal issues and problems. I believe that we all go through times of difficulty, pain, and confusion, and that it can be helpful to seek help at those times. My style is warm and accepting, and I value the use of humor.

I have an eclectic approach to therapy (cognitive behavioral, rational emotive, psychodynamic, family systems, etc.) and try to meet the client where he or she is. I am trained in the use of EMDR for trauma resolution and have a special interest in emotion regulation skills.

I have been practicing for 10 years and have dealt with many different issues with clients. Above all, I feel it is important to affirm the right of every individual to live a happy and productive life.
