“The M.T.C after my name stands for Master of Therapeutic Counseling. My original training was psychoanalytic, but over the years I"ve moved more toward a counseling model. Therapy in my office often begins with the creation of strategies for solving present-day problems, and frequently that"s enough. It"s only if a deeper approach is needed that we go looking below the surface for the story behind the story, in which case trance therapy can sometimes be very helpful. I do not choose to specialize, preferring to work with whoever seriously enters into the therapy process.

I find that specialties sometimes choose me. Most recently, I"m seeing many couples of different kinds - spouses (hetero and homo sexual), parent-and-grown-child, pairs of siblings, business partners - and this is work I find deeply satisfying.

In addition, it seems that I have a good grasp of the artistic personality, and artists of every sort have found their way to my office. I have welcomed them all.”
