Mrs. Paula Varrassi

I am licensed in New Jersey, Delaware and New York. I believe that each individual possesses strengths and health, and work from this perspective. My clients and I form a respectful working partnership, together we determine treatment goals. Areas of experise include adult and childhood mood disorders (anxiety/ depression), Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, Couples/Parenting Counseling and Special Education consultation.

I provide evidence based treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, proven to be effective and beneficial. I work with clients towards the development of resiliency, problem solving and coping skills in the face of life's challenges. Modalities are individual, group and couples.

In addition to my clinical work I have extensive experience in special education as the director of special education for a large school district. Through these experiences I have gained a perspective on individual and systems issues and am able to assist children and families dealing with these complex challenges.
