Mrs. Mary Holzinger

I have practiced in New Market for five years and I specialize with couples, individuals, families, adolescents and school age children. I have been in the mental health profession for over twenty years. I have solid experience with a large variety of issues, but my major strength is in relationship building and conflict resolution. I also welcome individuals to come to therapy. I have learned that people suffering with anxiety and depression are often on the brink of discovering information that could positively change their lives.

My background is in solution focused and strategic therapy but I use a variety of approaches to accommodate the client's individual situation, personality, and strengths. My past experience includes six years as an Employee Assistance Professional, six years of case management and advocacy for the seriously mentally ill population.

I became a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Virginia in 1997, and became a nationally Certified Employee Assistance Professional in 1999. I was licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of Maryland in 2000.I received my Master of Social Work Degree in 1990.
