“Psychotherapy is not about a diagnosis, it's about you and your life. My emphasis is on understanding you and the problems that are causing you distress. I will then help you both to understand yourself and to make constructive changes. I am dedicated to each of my patients as unique human beings. I work with adults, older adolescents, and couples. I have been a therapist for 30 years. I have a doctoral degree and post-doctoral training.

A great deal of the meaning in our lives comes from positive, successful relationships. I focus on helping you understand your relationships--past and present--and working with you to improve them. My approach is psychodynamic. This means that I focus on you, your emotions, your relationships, and your growth.

Good therapy is a dialog. I will listen carefully to you, then give you thoughtful, helpful feedback. Through working collaboratively, we can accomplish a great deal.”
