“Therapy is a place to explore how you feel, think, and live in the present, all of which is influenced by your past. The core beliefs and feelings we hold about ourselves are the key to how we live our lives. When these beliefs are negative they lead to unhappiness and a feeling of being stuck in life. This may come from past and present day experiences, dysfunctional habitual patterns or a distressing event(s). We are extremely loyal to what is familiar, even when it is not working.

My work is helping people understand how they got where they are and expand the choices they feel they have in life. I value therapy as a way to develop a better sense of self, find one's voice, and have more energy to live a more fulfilling life.

I have 20 plus years of experience working with a combination of talk therapy and an experiential body-mind approach. My training has included theory and practice in psychodynamics, family systems, body-oriented and EMDR.”
