“From time to time, we all experience situations where we can benefit from a trained professional. A psychologist is a professional who can help people gain insight into their feelings, change behaviors, resolve problems and learn how to deal with concerns like stress, grief, loss and sadness. For more than 25 years I have worked with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Helping college students adjust to living away from home has been a particularly rewarding part of my practice.

For over 18 years I have served as a psychological consultant to a local private boarding school, as well as to an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. I also collaborate with attorneys and provide psychological services to private court referrals for alcohol and drug related offenses, and anger management issues.

I offer comprehensive psychological testing services including the assessment of ADHD and competency evaluations. I draw upon approaches from a range of modalities including hypnosis, stress and pain management, and mindfulness meditation. My treatment approach integrates both cognitive-behavioral techniques and psychodynamic theory.”
