I blend my training in Clinical Social Work and Pastoral Ministry to help you make sense of your difficulties and live with less pain and greater personal freedom. Some people are looking for help with a recent 'life transition' situation, while others are dealing with longer-standing issues of depression, anxiety or difficulties in relationships. Most people find that my laid-back style helps them discuss difficult issues with relative ease.
While my manner is inviting, I am not shy in helping you explore the areas of your life that you'd rather not look at. I work compassionately with you, helping you notice, understand and address underlying habit patterns that get in the way of getting what you want out of life.
Along with advanced training in Couples therapy and Group therapy, I am currently in my fourth year of psychoanalytic training at the Massachusetts Insititute for Psychoanalysis. I am drawn to contemporary models of psychoanalysis, where I take an active part in our conversation together.
