“Do you need to find your balance, get a better night's sleep, improve your mood, reduce stress, change self-defeating patterns, feel better about who you are? With over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings, I help people in finding solutions to their problems, changing troublesome behaviors, developing their potential, and improving their personal relationships. I enjoy assisting others in adjusting to life's challenges--reducing depression, anxiety, and stress, sorting through sexual orientation issues, and exploring the "mind-body" connection to health and wellness.

I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic/Gestalt, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy, alone or in combination to address a client's needs and issues. Though a generalist, I have focused especially on mood/anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, stress reduction, and mind-body approaches to health.

I graduated from Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, Dayton, Ohio, in 1985, after completing my pre-doctoral internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cincinnati. My post-doctoral supervised training was at Northkey Community Care, a community mental health center, in Covington, KY.”
