“I listen. And I care. I"ve been practicing psychotherapy for thirty years, and I feel the same sense of warmth and interest in every client entering my office as I did when I started. I believe I learn from each of my clients because we work collaboratively. Therapy is a partnership grounded in your need to relieve pain, ease stress or grow and develop. My job is to listen, understand, reflect and explore your options with you. You can expect me to be clear, direct, respectful and open to your feedback, as well.

My practice includes individual, marital and family counseling. I have a special affinity for working with couples, incorporating communication skills and healthy conflict resolution, as well as building on relationship strengths. I am also a credentialed school counselor with experience in high schools and middle school.

I really enjoy adolescents and helping parents live more harmoniously with their adolescents. When a client comes to see me for therapy, I consider the whole person. My life has been greatly enriched by regular physical activity, including breathing and its impact on mindfulness.”
