Ms. Patricia Shaw

Want to develop a capacity to create and sustain trusting, loving, and lasting relationships? In my practice, I care deeply about helping people from diverse backgrounds and learning what it is you desire for your life. My intent is to create a safe, non-judgmental and interactive environment where you can make positive changes in your life. I use a collaborative approach in working with you.

In addition to working frequently with clients with issues concerning anxiety, depression, isolation, stress, grief/loss, work/life issues and life transitions, I specialize in working with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender clients, Communities of Color, and also in working with clients living with HIV/AIDS and chronic health issues.

The diversity I bring from my cultural, professional, and life experience background gives me a unique view point to understand and address client issues. I also provide counseling in Spanish. I look forward to speaking with you on how I might be able to assist.
