“I practice care through intensive psychotherapy with children, adults, and families. I help patients address a range of issues, some of which include: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, difficulties managing anger and aggression, low self-esteem, family conflicts, academic difficulties, peer conflict, and chronic medical illness. I seek to understand the unique needs each of my clients within the context of their own ethnic, cultural, and racial identity.

I worked with children within schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and juvenile justice system. I offer comprehensive psychological testing batteries, including emotional, cognitive, and academic assessment. When working with children I develop a collaborative relationship with parents, in order to facilitate positive change.

I have experience working with adult oncology patients who have had to cope with terminal illness, amputations, very difficult medical treatment, and subsequent life and relationship challenges. I also co-facilitated a group for women who had been newly diagnosed with breast cancer.”
