My job as a therapist changes along with my style -- One hour on the floor doing art with a child, the next hour educating a newly married couple, the next laughing with a group of teens. I enjoy working with couples and getting to the underlying causes of their issues. Because I am also a nurse,my clients feel very safe sharing their medical, pharmaceutacal and sexual history with me -- thus enabling me to help them on the road to both mental and physical health. I appeal to clients who appreciate feedback, honesty and a direct approach.
Pam is Creator and CEO of the Camp MakeBelieve After-School Enhancement Program for children. She has authored workbooks, guided imagery cds and educational tools to help children become masters of self-control, self-confidence and self-esteem. These programs have won The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval Award.
Pamela enjoys working with challenging clients, especially those who have a negative view of counseling. She motivates people to change negative behaviors and move from stagnant situations. Both genders feel respected and validated in her counseling sessions. This allows results to happen sooner rather than later.
