“It is my belief that even though people seem to differ in their inborn ability to handle life's stresses, their resiliency and sense of mastery can be cultivated. My therapeutic approach is to help my clients (individuals/ couples/ families) live a more hopeful and meaningful life.

I practice a compassionate, creative and sensitive therapy using the MIND (Psycho-dynamic, Solution-Focused, Systemic) and the BODY (EMDR, EFT, Dual-Brain Tx, Sensori-motor, Relaxation, Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation). This systemic approach values the client and their ongoing interaction with the environment (life experiences, health, culture, gender, significant others and society at large).

I have extensive international, civil, military and university (adjunct professor) experience in teaching / counseling individuals and families in coping with trauma (due to abuse, chronic pain, combat, Holocaust, 2nd Generation). Furthermore, experienced working with multi-cultural and minority issues, interfaith and blended families. My private practice hours are on the weekends and have a sliding scale.”
