I find that clients who benefit from my services are typically experiencing excessive stress or a personal crisis in their lives. They may struggle with feelings of anxiety, grief, guilt or depression on a periodic or chronic basis; they may face work problems or ongoing health problems that increase their psychological distress; they may also feel confused or disheartened by relationship problems with partners, family members or friends. I am able to assist these clients by helping them understand the underlying source of their problems and by developing realistic alternatives that can help resolve these issues.

I provide psychological assessment and therapy for adolescents and adults. As faculty at Marquette University's Dental School, I have also developed expertise in the use of health psychology approaches for chronic health conditions. Assisting individuals who are experiencing work dissatisfaction, work performance issues or career uncertainty is another specialty area in my practice.

I offer psychological coaching services to a wide range of professionals including doctors, attorneys, engineers, educators, business owners, and health care and insurance professionals among others. My coaching approach entails an active, highly focused and solution oriented process of identifying and achieving the goals of my clients.
