Hello all, my approach is a combination of systems therapy and life coaching.In addition,I use Emotional Focused Therapy with couples.I am Bilingual (English-Spanish).I have experience in the field of substance abuse and dual diagnoses.Presenting issues range from: ind/couples/families ranging from depression, mood disorders and anxiety symptoms, to parenting issues, divorce (working collaboratively with attorneys) and relationship issues. I also developed a couple's program geared towards premarital awakenings, called "Wedding Socks" (something to warm those "cold feet"). Most importantly, I empower clients to find meaning and real connection to themselves and with others.

I am a therapist and my approach is systemic. This means that I look at the the whole picture surrounding the individual, a couple or family in order to assess and work collaboratively finding ways of getting unstuck from a difficult spot, a transitional period, or a long standing unhealthy situation.

"Wedding Socks" is for those courageous couples that are willing to challenge the divorce statistics, "really" understanding one another. Already married or committed couples may also attend this program. What an opportunity to use the experience they have gained already and add skills and insight to enrich it!
