“Most clients would describe my practice style as honest, optimistic and no-nonsense. As a cognitive behavioral therapist, I work predominantly within a short-term therapy format. Another way of describing this is to say that I work with clients to change their thinking and behavior in problem situations.
In addition to being a fully licensed Psychologist I hold a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing. This is useful in helping clients to understand the mind-body connections of chronic disease, pain, eating disorders and stress-related illnesses.
My practice includes individuals, couples and families. I offer early morning and evening appointments in addition to regular daytime hours.”
