Life is full of difficult choices and complicated circumstances but it is meant to be active, happy and full. Many people find themselves living a life of quiet desperation instead of the life they want. This can be because of genetic vulnerabilities, a childhood that was not sensitive to what you needed in specific developmental stages, or choices that have not supported you. Instead of trying harder at the same old solutions, my goal is to help you shift your level of functioning and satisfaction. Research supports rewiring the neural networks in our brain to bring real and lasting change.

I have a more than 26 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and leading groups. Therapy is active and we develop our plan of treatment together, so that it takes into account your past experiences, present realities,challenges,and desires. The neural networks in our brain shape much about our conscious and unconcious choices, and they either ramp up stress or calm it. They orchestrate the release of the chemicals that our brains and bodies are bathed in. Those chemicals then shape our motivations and drives as well as how we process the events of our daily lives.
