“I am a psychologist in private practice and a teacher and supervisor of marital and family therapy students at the Argyle Institute of Human Relations. At the core of my work is my belief that we are all doing the best we can at any given moment to face life's challenges but sometimes the challenges are overwhelming and we require an objective person to help us gain perspective. Therapy helps us become more attuned to our thoughts, feelings and needs. The more we understand ourselves, the more able we are to make positive choices that usually bring happiness.

Do you and your partner seem to be spinning your tires in the mud ? I have specialized training in emotionally focused couple therapy, one of the most effective methods of couple therapy. By exploring the deeper feelings beneath repetitive fights, partners learn to appreciate each other and put their relationship back on track.

Clients, I believe, can be open with me because they feel supported and validated. Rather than negative self-judgement, I encourage compassion for self. I see my role as helping you become more attuned and responsive to the wisdom that lies inside you.”
