I was initally trained in psychodynamic methods. My first jobs added Transactional Analysis and Gestalt concepts. Additional training included EMDR and specialty training in a Cognitive Behaviorl approach to Domestic Violence Treatment.

I have worked in the Domestic Violence Field for 15 years working with perpetrators of physical and emotional violence. I believe that specific DV treatment must preceed couple therapy.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
