For over ten years I have been using the skills I gained in the DBT intensive training. I am also trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to manage severe, recurrent depression. The concepts of Mind Body Medicine are key elements of my practice.
Caring for emotional pain requires an awareness of both the psychic and physical body. I focus on mindful awareness as well as simple, gentle yoga to support my clients in their growth. To effectively own our lives, we must always remember that our entire self, physical and psychic require care.
