Libby K Collins

I enjoy working with children, teens, individuals and couples. My work has ranged from helping couples overcome marital difficulties to helping children and their families manage challenging behaviors. Of special interest to me is helping my clients manage symptoms around anxiety, depression and transitions between stages of life.

I utilize play therapy with younger clients and enjoy using cognitive behavioral and mindfulness therapy with older clients. I believe in a strength based approach to therapy to help clients realize their strengths and full potential.

I have presented on a range of topics including anxiety and ADHD. I have co-facilitated groups to help clients manage anxiety and symptoms consistent with an autism spectrum disorder. I am a member of the Minnesota Association of Play Therapy and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
