I do this by exploring underlying roots to emotional distress, identifying unmet needs, and helping you to break out of self-defeating patterns to make lasting, positive changes in your life.

I have a strong ability to connect with clients and create a safe yet challenging therapeutic space. Clients describe me as patient, accepting, knowledgeable, and effective. I work psychodynamically and cognitively, and I honor the client's individual values, family traditions, sexual orientation, and cultural and spiritual beliefs.

I specialize in psychotherapy for a wide range of issues including: relationship issues, depression, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, grief & loss, women's issues, self-esteem, body image, lesbian/gay/bisexual issues, men's issues, life transitions, family dysfunction, and helping clients identify and modify problematic life patterns.
