For more than 25 years, I have provided treatment for children, adolescents and adults who present with a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. My clinical framework is guided by convictions that individuals possess intrinsic drives toward health, happiness and love. When this inner wisdom becomes obscured by life's struggles, or when a child's development sways off course, I provide a space to reflect, regain perspective, and make choices that lend to fulfillment in play, school, work and relationships.

I work with youth and adults suffering from the effects of anxiety, depression, divorce, shame, friendship problems, relational conflict, low self esteem, ADHD, trauma, physical and sexual abuse, and grief. My clinical expertise is bolstered by 15 years experience conducting forensic evaluations associated with traumatized children and adults.

My therapeutic approach is warm, respectful, engaged, compassionate and focused. When working with children, I support their ability to talk about thoughts and feelings, but also employ "play therapy," which helps them communicate upsets, reenact troubles, relieve stress, dramatize strengths, create options and adopt adaptive coping strategies.
