Welcome to the first and most courageous step of therapy - looking for help and support.I consider myself a compass helping children, adolescents, adults, couples and parents by guiding them in the direction of well-being. People are already amazing but sometimes life experiences, circumstances, illness and relationships can impose clouded judgment, maladaptive behavior, poor self esteem and obstacles from achieving what we truly desire and deserve. My approach is educative, supportive, trusting, safe and direct.
My M.A. in Counseling was achieved in 1998 at Amberton University. I have worked in a youth and family clinic, a domestic violence & sexual abuse outreach center & provided in-home crisis counseling for at-risk youth and their families.I have facilitated social skills & behavior intervention in the private and public school system with special needs children.
I consider it an honor & a privilege to work with people on such a personal yet professional level. I make it a point to ensure ethical and cutting edge techniques as I am very passionate about what I do and who I serve.
