It takes courage to ask for help and begin this journey we call psychotherapy. I honor your strength and will bring a thoughtful and genuine presence to our work together. I believe the connection that develops between therapist and client is key to self-discovery, healing, and change. Psychotherapy supports the development of good relationships, healthy boundaries, mindfulness, attention to balance, and empathy and respect for yourself and others. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space in which personal growth and self-acceptance are encouraged.

Although I see a variety of clients, I especially enjoy working with young adults and have extensive training in trauma recovery (particularly with individuals who have experienced abuse or neglect as children) as well as the treatment of anxiety and depression.

I utilize a varied approach - focusing on interpersonal, attachment, personality and familial issues. Psychotherapy is a collaboration in which we together can find meaning. Additionally, I value the connection between mind and body and can help you increase awareness of your physical self to promote inner peace and balance.
