phone: (410) 489-1679I provide treatment for a variety of mental health problems with a specialty in anxiety, depression, and grief counseling. Other problems such as chronic stress, incessant worrying, low self-esteem, social anxiety, and adjustment disorders are also a major focus of my practice. Whether the problems that you are encountering are the result of a temporary stressor, or related to more long-term problems, therapy can help and I look forward to working with you.
The type of treatment that I provide for my client's is Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT demonstrates how our thoughts and emotions directly impact our behaviors and is especially useful when working with anxiety, depression and a variety of other mental health problems.
With additional training in clinical pastoral counseling, I account for the incorporation of spirituality into the counseling process if needed. Scientific research in the field of psychology demonstrates how closely one's mind is to one's body, but also how one's spirituality comes into affect the process as well.
