Dr. Benna Sherman

I specialize in therapy for individuals and couples, seeing adults of all ages. I enjoy working with men and women, gay and straight, of all ethnicities and all spiritualities. I am Integrative/Eclectic in my orientation, with an emphasis on customizing therapy to fit the patient.

I am probably most recognized for my work with relationships, since I am published 3 times a month on relationship issues in local newspapers. But I also have post-doctoral specialty training and interest in Hypnosis and in Stress Management. Mindfulness and meditation are particular interests.

My style as a therapist is ACTIVE, PRAGMATIC, and HOLISTIC. I see therapy as an active collaboration between me and the patient. I'm interested in practical and realistic solutions. I have a particular interest in the Mind-Body connection and offer a mindfulness-based Stress Management Program I developed.
