I am specially trained and certified to treat eating disorders, and welcome any person who struggles with issues related to eating, weight or body image. People develop abnormal relationships with food for many reasons. I work with each client to understand the puzzle of their personal eating issues, helping them restore their relationship to food. Food is a joyous part of life, a friend not foe. I help my clients put food in perspective, a part of life, not the whole of it. I have faith in every individual's ability to recover, with perseverance, insight and support.

My formal training in the treatment/prevention of eating disorders is augmented by the experiences I've gained through my own eating disorder recovery. I am passionate about my practice, and work with my wonderful clients, to treat and eliminate eating disorders in a culture that continues to perpetuate them.
