The Initial Session allows us to: 1. Talk about your concerns and what you hope to achieve in therapy 2. Give you insight into how the therapy process works 3. Review my office policies, privacy and confidentiality and other issues.
As we progress, you will learn appropriate techniques for improved problem-solving, communication and emotional well-being. With the goal of helping you move forward, the aim is for you to see and feel the positive changes as you put your knowledge into practice.

Help members become aware of their own self-esteem and how it affects their lives. Help members understand the relationship between their self-esteem and the choices they make. Teach teenagers to recognize their strengths in order to enhance self esteem. Help teens become more aware of everyday tactics that help promote a healthy, confident, sense of self.

Group therapy helps people learn about themselves and improve their ability to cope with problems in their lives. We emphasis collaborative sharing, support and problem solving and believe each group member has something important to contribute. This is a more open-ended group in which members work at their own pace and leave when their particular needs or goals have been met.
